This is an Informational How-To for the Tampa BMX Raceway Website... If for any reason this How-To does not answer your questions or you would just like to give us your input on this site please go to the "Contact Us" page and fill out the short form. Home Page -- Our home page consists of many informational sources. I will start from the top. Weather @ Tampa BMX -- This is a REAL TIME(current) weather component. This will show you the current weather at the BMX track according to the National Weather Service. If you click on the "7 day forecast" you will be taken to a page that shows exactly that information. Click "Home" to return to the Home Page. Horizontal Menu -- This menu is available from any page in the Tampa BMX website. You can click on the "Home" button from anywhere on this site to return to the Home Page. The other options available from this menu may change over time but should be self explanatory. Date -- This is a just for informational purposes. Clicking this will only exercise your finger. How-To & Welcome... -- This is the Content of the Main page. While reading any of these you can click on the "Read More...". By doing so you will see the full article and not just the intro. Calendar -- This is the Tampa BMX Events Calendar which is updated monthly. While viewing the calendar you can move your mouse over a colored day/event. If you click on the day you will be taken to another page with that days full Event information. By clicking the "Back" button you will be returned to the calendar page. Clicking "Home" will take you back to the home page.Picture Gallery -- AS A GUEST to the Tampa BMX website this menu button will take you to the Tampa BMX Picture Gallery. From here you will be able to view and vote on pictures that have been taken at Tampa BMX and other related functions. Gallery Menu -- By clicking on one of the menu buttons you will be able to the publicly available pictures by (Albums, Last Uploads, Last Comments, Most Viewed, Top rated, My Favorites). You can also search for a picture by name, title or description. When you click on a thumbnail (small picture) of a picture you will then have the picture viewing options. Along top of the picture will be some icons. If you hold your mouse over the icon it will ell you what it does, and then click the option you want. You also can vote on picture by clicking on the stars (bellow the picture). Picture Gallery -- As A MEMBER to the Tampa BMX Website this menu button will take you to the Tampa BMX Picture Gallery. From here you ill be able to view pictures that are made public, comment on pictures & vote on pictures. To upload a picture you must first have an Album created. To do this simply click the "Create / order my albums", then from the screen bellow click the "New" button. You can then name the Album by selecting the "New Album" (below the delete & new buttons) and type the name you would like then click "Apply modifications". Tell the "Are you sure..." box YES, and then click "Continue". By clicking the "Modify my albums" button you can rename, give descriptions, and change who can view the album. By default the album is created as a "Public Album" so everyone can view the pictures. Now to add the picture point your mouse over the "@" in the menu and then click "upload file". Click on the "Browse" button and locate the picture on your computer and click "continue". You can add up to 5 pictures at a time. The picture size must be under 1024 KB or 1Mb. If you see that "0" uploads were successful you will need to resize your picture/s. Please keep in mind that we a limited to the amount of storage space we have so please keep your picture sizes on the smaller side. Remember that this is a Public website with kids, teens and parents viewing the content. Do not upload anything that you know is not appropriate for this type of environment.
